Live. Join the Search family in one of our beautiful group homes. Search's Supported Living Program offers you a chance to experience all the responsibilities and fun of home life with a small, close-knit group of peers. Enjoy your independence, but rest assured you've got a professional in-home support team you can count on 24/7. Home locations include the neighborly communities of Chicago's north and northwest sides, as well as Skokie, Morton Grove, and Mount Prospect.  Your Supported Living program package includes services for all of your activities of daily living, as well as comprehensive health care and recreational services for an active, healthy lifestyle.

About Your Home

Search group homes are beautiful, welcoming, well maintained, and located in safe, friendly neighborhoods. Living on your own doesn't have to mean living alone. Sharing the experience with a small group of peers means you'll always have someone to talk to or do things with. Search homes also provide ample public and private areas for those times when you need your own space. Respect for other people's privacy is strongly promoted.

Whether it's doing your laundry, shopping for groceries, making a meal, taking your medications, or attending to your personal care, we know your independence is important to you. Your in-home support team is there 24/7 to offer just the amount of help you want.  We're prepared to work side by side with you, or if you prefer, step back and allow you the freedom to do things for yourself.  You can rest assured we're always nearby to lend a helping hand if you need one.

One of the best parts of life is being able to get-up-and-go where you want. Need a lift?  Whether it's getting to the bank, local library, or shopping mall we can get you there.

About Your Health

It's difficult to live, learn, work and play to your fullest when you don't feel healthy. Navigating the health care system can be stressful.  In fact, just keeping up with your prescriptions and doctor appointments can make you feel a little sick.

Join Search's Supported Living program and get the quality medical care you deserve, without all the hassle and stress. Search's Health Care Program is designed with both your health and convenience in mind. We operate two clinics at our Lincoln Square and Northbrook Adult Learning centers. Search's clinics are staffed by a skilled and caring team of healthcare and nursing professionals.

When you join Search's Supported Living program, you gain a personal health care team you can count on to prevent illness and also manage any existing medical conditions you might have.  They'll listen to your concerns, answer your questions and make sure your medical care runs smoothly.

By providing medical services from our own Adult Learning centers, your medical care is conveniently located where you already spend your day.  On-site services include: primary care, dietary consultation, neurology, podiatry, optometry, lab, and physical therapy. Also available is a full array of mental health services including psychiatry as well as group and individual counseling.

If you need additional services, Search's Health Care Program also maintains solid relationships with a full list of quality off-site medical providers, offering you access to any specialty services you might need. Medical service accessed off-site include: gynecology, urology, dental, gastroenterology, and many more.
