    Associate Board

The Search Inc. Associate Board supports the mission and programs of Search through fundraising, volunteering and strategizing around best practices for growth. The Associate Board’s goal is to work to create optimal supports for people with I/DD and their families and promote more accessible, inclusive communities. Together, in collaboration with the Search Board of Directors and Search leadership team, the Search Inc. Associate Board will engage talented volunteers, bring new supporters into Search’s network and raise awareness among a younger generation to support Search’s mission.

  • Rewarding self-fulfillment through making a meaningful difference on the lives of the over 350 people and families supported by Search.

Responsibilities of Associate Board members include:

  • Attend and invite people from your network to attend Search events, including our annual event, Trailblazers,
  • Provide advice and professional insight into Search's strategy and execution of our mission,
  • Serve a term of at least 2 years,
  • Contribute $1,000 annually through donations, in-kind, event tickets and/or purchases at Planet Access, or contribute at a level that reflects your ability, and
  • Join at least one of the committees: Fundraising Committee, Social Ventures Committee, and Advocacy Committee.
