Giving Tuesday 2023

Giving Tuesday 2023: Tuesday, November 28th

Make a Meaningful Difference this November!

You have a special opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life this giving season. Your support empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to connect with their communities and create their own, unique paths to a good life.

Illinois ranks 49th in funding for services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This means many individuals live on a monthly allowance of just $60 a month.

Search began fundraising 10 years ago to supplement these low reimbursement rates from the state. Fundraising allows us to beautify homes, empower emerging and professional artists, continue education through adult learning programs and more.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 by midnight on November 28th, Giving Tuesday. Your donation, in any amount, will help us reach our goal!

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. Following Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has been designated as a day for charities, families, businesses, community centers and students around the world to come together to celebrate generosity and to give.

You don't need to be a millionaire or world leader to give back. Giving Tuesday was created with the belief that when everyday people join together in the spirit of giving back extraordinary things can happen.

Our Giving Tuesday campaign this year centers on the many things Search is to those we serve; including creativity, home and opportunity. Search could not be all of these things without you.

Donate today to Search for Giving Tuesday and join us in giving back!

Please mail any checks to Search Inc. attn: Trina Grogan, 1925 N Clybourn Avenue, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60614.
