Employee Spotlight: Bruce F., Supported Living DSP

Bruce started with Search in 2007 after being employed in an office job at his family's business.  He wanted a change, and that's just what Search provided. Currently, Bruce is the lead DSP at Highland House.  He finds the emotional connection with the gentlemen at the home the most rewarding part of his job.

By understanding the intentions behind their actions, Bruce is able to best serve the men. Focusing on the best interests of the guys is his biggest motivator. He also enjoys the bonds and teamwork that he has formed with other staff.

His advice to anyone new to the field is: Be open to new situations and graceful through anything.  These are the qualities that Bruce demonstrated when he accepted the challenge of moving from his position at Keeler North to open the brand new Highland CILA. Outside of work, Bruce stays physically and mentally fit by walking and dabbling in investments.
