The newest event space from the group behind the esteemed Gibson's Bar & Steakhouse and LuxBar, the Montgomery Club features a sumptuous art deco interior, patio with built-in bar and a mouthwatering menu sure to delight.

Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. on May 9. Guests will enjoy an elegant reception featuring cocktails, fun food stations, awards and an auction! Visit the Search for Adventure web page for full event details and registration information. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Executive Director Beth Valukas states, "This event is an important milestone for the entire Search family. For the first time in the organization's history, we will be bringing together all of our stakeholders – including families, employees, Board members, partner organizations, donors and friends – to celebrate Search's unique commitment to innovation in all that we do in service to people with disabilities."

We are thrilled to announce that Search will honor the JJ's List Disability Awareness Players with the 2015 Trailblazer Award on this, the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Disability Awareness Players, a unique performance group, train companies, business associations, schools, nonprofit organizations, and trade groups to communicate comfortably and appropriately with prospective hires, customers and current employees who have disabilities.

Experts in disability because they have disabilities themselves, the Players have trained over 2,000 people at organizations throughout the Chicago area, including the Steppenwolf Theatre, 1871, Wintrust, Siemens Corporation, Northern Trust Bank and Whole Foods Market. For all that they've done to promote disability awareness through public engagement and dialogue, the Players are truly trailblazers!

In addition to honoring the Disability Awareness Players, the event will also recognize Search's recent accomplishments, including the creation of new and innovative program initiatives with a sharp focus on technology, employment and community integration.
