Search Receives Second CQL Accreditation!

We are thrilled to announce that Search has received its second 3-year Quality Assurances Accreditation from the Council on Quality & Leadership (CQL)!

In November 2019, Search hosted two reviewers from the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL). The review included several site visits, focus groups with Direct Support Professionals and individuals served, Personal Outcome Measure Interviews, and a series of meetings focused on validating CQL’s “Basic Assurances.” These Basic Assurances cover all areas of operations, including:

1. Rights Protection and Promotion
2. Dignity and Respect
3. Natural Support Networks
4. Protection from Abuse, Neglect, Mistreatment, and Exploitation
5. Best Possible Health
6. Safe Environments
7. Staff Resources and Supports
8. Positive Services and Supports
9. Continuity and Personal Security
10. Basic Assurances System (our system for monitoring all of the above “Basic Assurances”)

The visit went exceptionally well! The reviewers commended the Search team for our continued commitment to enhancing quality for the people we support. They also noted that Search “provides many stellar and unique services to people that are person-centered and offer unique experiences.”

Search's Quality Assurances Accreditation is for a 3-year term, but the process of accreditation is continuous.  Search is continuing to develop new plans to further integrate CQL standards into its services and supports, with a sharp focus on personal outcomes for individuals served.
